Class SolverMultiOpen

java.lang.Object
solvers.SolverMulti
solvers.multiSolverAlgorithms.SolverMultiOpen

public class SolverMultiOpen extends SolverMulti
Solves a multiclass open model with the classical queueing network algorithms, as described in the JMVA chapter of the JMT user manual (load dependent stations are not allowed in open models).

  • Constructor Details

    • SolverMultiOpen

      public SolverMultiOpen(int classes, int stations, double[] lambda)
      Creates a SolverMultiOpen
      Parameters:
      classes - number of classes
      stations - number of stations
      lambda - array of arrival rates
    • SolverMultiOpen

      public SolverMultiOpen(int classes, int stations, double[] lambda, int[] servers)
      Creates a SolverMultiOpen with multiple server support
      Parameters:
      classes - number of classes
      stations - number of stations
      lambda - array of arrival rates
  • Method Details

    • solve

      public void solve()
      Solves the model, using an appropriate technique (LI or LD model).
      Specified by:
      solve in class SolverMulti
    • hasSufficientProcessingCapacity

      public boolean hasSufficientProcessingCapacity()
      A system is said to have sufficient capacity to process a given load lambda if no service center is saturated as a result of the combined loads of all the classes.
      WARNING: This method should be called before solving the system.
      Specified by:
      hasSufficientProcessingCapacity in class SolverMulti
      Returns:
      true if sufficient capacity exists for the given workload, false otherwise
